Children’s Museum: Sunshine Storytime Arts
and Crafts at the Library SAP at Greenwood (Summer Arts Program) (tweens and younger) Every Tuesday in July from 10:00 – 12:00 (ages 4-6) and 12:00 – 2:00 Join Studio-in-a-school art educator, Michelle Hinebrook for art programming. Children will learn about the environment and sustainability using paint, clay, collage and other art materials. Sign up at the park will be necessary because each class will be limited to 20 kids. the Reading Bug Childrens Time at the Library WTA and CENTER FOR THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT (Ages 4-6) Thursdays starting July 10 from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Join educators from Center for the Urban Environment for two months of exciting courses. In July, join us for “Once Upon A Street” (hands-on investigations of the shapes, colors and textures of our neighborhood) and in August, we’ll present “Park Pals” (art activities and hands-on experiments to learn about the anatomy, development, and behavior of Lyla the ladybug and other urban critters). All sessions meet at Uncle Louie G (corner of Vanderbilt St. and Prospect Park Southwest) and sign up prior to each session will be necessary because each class will be limited to 25 kids ages 4-6.
